Kevin was born on Aug. 17, 1951 in Oakland, Calif., to Robert and Mardelle Magrane. At a later date, the family relocated to Carson City. During Kevin's high school years, he was a stand out athlete for Carson High. After graduation Kevin attended the University of Utah, WNCC, and TMCC. He never lost his enthusiasm for sports - especially for the Oakland Raiders.



He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather John Girsch and Stepmother Ann Magrane. Surviving is his loving family Diane, son Johnathan (Teresa) Magrane of New Zealand, brother John Paul Girsch (Gigi) of South Lake Tahoe, sister Sharon Lewis of Portola, Calif., two stepsisters Leslie Girsch of Reno and Denny of Sparks, one nephew, one niece, four stepchildren and four step grandchildren.



Services will be held at Lutheran Church of Good Shepard located at California and Arlington on Sunday, Feb. 10 2008 at 2 p.m. under the direction of Pastor Carl Wilfred. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lutheran Church of Good Shepard Lazarus fund, Washoe County Library, or SPCA.
