Parents and their children were able to learn to stay healthy while participating in game and fitness exercises. They also met Bruno, the mascot from the Reno Bighorns. Every student received a free cinch bag and water bottle in addition to a chance to win prizes, including basketballs, soccer balls, a Trek mountain bike with a helmet and a Wii video game system.
Billinghurst Middle School will host the next Family Fun Night on Jan. 19, 2012, and Shaw Middle School will follow on Jan. 25, 2012.
