RENO — Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) wanted in connection with a road rage shooting that resulted in a vehicle accident in the vicinity of Plumas and Martin streets.

The incident occurred at 1:08 a.m. Sunday. Police say the victims, a man and a pregnant woman, were being followed by the suspect vehicle, which was driving erratically. The suspect vehicle started to pass the victim’s vehicle when the victim accelerated to prevent the pass. The victims heard several gunshots coming from the suspect vehicle. The male victim leaned over to avoid being shot and inadvertently swerved towards the curb and struck a parked pick-up truck. The victim’s vehicle onto its side.

The victims were transported to Renown Medical Center and treated for minor injuries.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark sedan traveling eastbound on Martin Street from Plumas Street.
