Free event for military personnel

OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. — With the holiday season now upon us, should any editorial opportunities arise, please consider this free, benevolent military event in the Palisades Room at The Village at Squaw Valley USA is hosting an event for military members on Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Put on by the nonprofit Forgotten Soldiers Program and the Healing Light Institute, the event will provide free for military soldiers, officers, nurses, veterans and their families:

• Counseling

• Bodywork and massage therapy

• Education and career-building tools

• Acupuncture

• Life and health coaching

• Nutritional advice

• Lunch

• A safe, nurturing environment for soldiers to speak freely about their experiences
