RENO –– A forum for anyone in the arts community to discuss and collaborate on arts issues will now be held on Feb. 18. The forum was formerly scheduled for Jan. 28.

Artown’s mission is “to strengthen Reno’s arts industry, foster its civic identity and enhance its national image, creating a climate for the cultural and economic rebirth of the region.”

With that in mind, the festival invites the arts community to join the 2010 Artown Forum Feb. 18. from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The forum will take place at Truckee Meadows Community College’s Redfield Theater, 505 Keystone Ave. in the Keystone Square shopping center.

The focus of Artown’s forum is to encourage feedback from the arts community with questions and suggestions. Topics include responsibility to Reno’s arts community, collaborations within the arts community, effectiveness of Artown’s marketing efforts and community concerns about Artown, as well as any other related discussions that arise.
