RENO –– Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with armed robbery and shooting of a male victim in the area of Trainer and Montello streets.

On Saturday at about 11 p.m. the victim was driving in the area of Trainer and Montello when he saw the three suspects.

One suspect jumped into the passenger seat, pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money.

The suspect started going through the victim’s pockets when the victim jumped out of the vehicle and heard two gunshots.

The suspect ran and the victim chased him in his vehicle.

The victim then drove to Renown Regional Medical Center, where he was treated for a gunshot wound to his chest and a grazing wound to his upper arm. No description of the suspects was provided.

The Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
