RENO –– Murphy Business and Financial, a northern Nevada business brokerage firm, announced this week the addition of Sharon G. Grundy as business manager.

Grundy brings with her more than 20 years of senior management experience in telecommunications, professional services, training and development, education and operations oversight. She has had her own successful management consulting firm for more than seven years.

Grundy studied business administration at Louisiana State University and earned the Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM) certification from Stanford University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Grundy has taught management courses for the Stanford University Center for Professional Development and currently teaches in the University of Nevada, Reno Extended Studies Program. She is also a member of the Project Management Institute, American Society for Training and Development and was a charter member of the University of California Berkeley Project Management Curriculum Advisory Council.
