Lifetime Sparks resident, Robert D. “Bob” Kennedy died peacefully in his sleep, Feb. 26 at his home.

Born March 21, 1939, Bob was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who knew all the best hunting and fishing spots in Nevada. He was also a gifted trap shooter and loved to play golf.

An excellent athlete himself, Bob strongly supported youth sports in Sparks and will be fondly remembered as an exceptional coach.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Lee, his mother, Millie and his beloved brother, Colin. He is survived by his two sons, Brad and Randy and grandchildren Quinn, Maurice, Rhianne, Lauren and Joseph.

Bob was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and numerous friends.

A memorial wake will be held in his honor, Thursday, March 11 at 6:00 p.m. in the Rose B Ballroom at John Ascuaga's Nugget.
