Crash activity keeps NHP busy through storm

RENO –– On Tuesday between 6 and 11 a.m., troopers from the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) responded to a total of 15 accidents throughout the region. Three accidents involved injuries while the other 12 were property damage only.

US Highway 50 west of US 395 had four accidents. All four happened between 10 and 11 a.m.

State Route 431, which is the Mt. Rose Highway, had three accidents, one with injuries.

The NHP troopers also responded to several spin-outs and accidents on most of the mountain highways.
