SPARKS — The time for the Regional Transportation Commission’s bimonthly community meeting for the study of traffic improvements to Pyramid Way at McCarran Boulevard has been changed to 4:30 to 8 p.m. today in the Bonanza meeting rooms on the second floor of John Ascuaga’s Nugget. Officials will be available to discuss updates one-on-one with guests with a short presentation and public comment beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by the opportunity for additional individual discussions.

Among the topics discussed will be recently updated traffic models that estimate average daily traffic through the intersection and the approach to design based on information from the new models. The RTC welcomes and encourages public input on the information presented and proposals under consideration.
